Cory Berkland is a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and in the Department of Chemistry at Washington University in Saint Louis. Cory is a serial entrepreneur, inventor, and the scientific founder behind Kinimmune's core technology. His prior companies include exits such as Savara and Orbis, and he has raised more than $100M across dilutive and non-dilutive sources over his career. A prolific inventor in drug delivery and peptide engineering, Cory originated the glatiramoid approach at the heart of KIN-112. At Kinimmune he sets scientific direction and provides the founding vision for a new generation of localized cancer immunotherapies built on differentiated, developable chemistry.

Danny Griffin is a venture operator and immunotherapy expert who leads Kinimmune's scientific strategy and KIN-112 program. His background spans the bench and the boardroom, with experience evaluating oncology investment opportunities and translating early discovery into development candidates. At Kinimmune he directs the science behind localized innate immune activation, guiding KIN-112 from preclinical evidence toward first-in-human readiness and shaping the company's broader platform of precision peptides and engineered cytokines designed for treatment at the site of disease.

Nabil AlhakamyPharmD, PhD

Nabil Alhakamy is a pharmaceutical scientist and venture operator who oversees Kinimmune's operations, development planning, and business strategy. He previously built a revenue-generating pharmaceutical business and brings deep expertise in drug delivery, formulation science, and translating laboratory innovation into commercial programs. At Kinimmune he coordinates the operations and manufacturing readiness, and the partnerships that move KIN-112 toward the clinic and position the company for long-term growth.

Mike Riley is a licensed U.S. patent attorney who has advised numerous public and private pharmaceutical companies on patent strategy, lifecycle management, and legal operations, with additional experience across corporate development, business development, and operations for life-science companies. He counsels emerging biotech companies on intellectual-property strategy supporting large-scale corporate transactions, and helps guide Kinimmune's IP and operational foundation.
